As every year, a team from the Almería Levante Fire Consortium paid a visit to Huercal-Overa’s Inmaculada Hospital to visit the children who have been admitted over Christmas, a time which means so much to young ones.
During their visit, they handed out gifts, games, as well as kind words, giving the children a fun morning which put a smile on their faces.
Dressed in uniform, surprising the little ones, the children took delight in seeing the team up close and being able to ask lots of questions about their work. The visit to the rooms and wards gave everyone a chance to temporarily forget about their worries, whilst spending some time being entertained along with their families and visitors.
Afterwards, the firefighters thanked the Huercal-Overa health staff for all their help and collaboration to make their visit to the young people possible, who had all been admitted at this particularly difficult time for any child .
The initiative highlighted the firefighters’ commitment to solidarity and help, in addition to the extremely important work that they carry out throughout the year. The Levante Almeriense Consortium also work constantly with different non-governmental and charitable associations in the area, with the aim of to maintaining a close relationship with the people of the region.
The recent addition of new members reinforces the Fire Department to enable them to better carry out the immense task they are charged with, in order to protect everyone’s welfare and safety.
Como viene siendo habitual un equipo del cuerpo del Consorcio de Bomberos del Levante Almeriense, se han desplazado hasta el Hospital de la Inmaculada de Huercal-Overa, para visitar a los niños ingresados en estas fechas tan importantes para los más pequeños.
En su visita repartieron regalos, juegos y simpatía que arrancaron sonrisas a los jóvenes enfermos, haciéndoles pasar una mañana muy divertida.
Vestidos con su equipo de trabajo, a la sorpresa de los pequeños siempre sigue la curiosidad por ver de cerca el equipo de que disponen y, como no, hacer todas las preguntas posibles referentes de su labor.
Los bomberos desplazados hasta el Hospital de la Inmaculada fueron visitando a todos los enfermos en sus habitaciones, haciendo olvidar preocupaciones y pasando todos un rato entretenido, tanto sanitarios como enfermos o los propios bomberos y familiares.
Los representantes del Consorcio de Bomberos del Levante Almeriense, agradecieron al personal sanitario de Huercal-Overa por su ayuda y colaboración para hacer posible su visita a los jóvenes ingresados así como las facilidades que han encontrado para poder acompañarles en unos momentos tan difíciles para cualquier niño.
La importante labor que los bomberos desarrollan en nuestra sociedad da un paso más en su compromiso de solidaridad y ayuda realizando este tipo de iniciativas.
Los Bomberos del Consorcio del Levante Almeriense también colaboran con diferentes ONG y Asociaciones benéficas de la zona y a lo largo de todo el año, materializando su expreso deseo de mantener la cercanía y la proximidad con todos los ciudadanos de su Comarca.
Las incorporaciones de nuevos miembros en el cuerpo de bomberos refuerza la inmensa labor que durante estos años han realizado en pro del bienestar y seguridad de todos los vecinos.
