Documentation required to register in Mojácar

If you own a home:

Two documents are required:

1. Deed of ownership or IBI bill or electricity or water bill where the owner´s name and address appear.
2. Original document identifying the interested person.

If you have a rental contract:

Three documents are required:

1. The original rental contract lasting 6 months from its presentation at the town hall.
2. IBI bill or electricity bill or water bill where the name of the person signing the contract matches the owner of the bills and the address of the rental.
3. Original document identifying the interested person.

if you are not the home owner and you don´t have a rental contract:

Four documents are required:

1. A document signed by the owner authorizing the people who are registering in housing.
2. Photocopy of the owner´s identity.
3. IBI bill or electricity bill matching the person´s name signing the authorization document, the owner of the bills and the address of the rental.
4. Original document identifying the interested person.

Registration for children:

* In case of separation or divorce, the required documents are as specified by the numbers 2,3 and 4.

* In case parents live different addresses by they are not separated or divorced, the required documents are as specified by numbers 1,3 and 4.

1. Spouse statement authorizing the minor to register with the address of the other spouse.
2. In case of separation or divorce, a custody document attesting for one of the spouses.
3. Photocopy of parents identification document
4. Birth certificate or child´s family book.
