Mojácar Pueblo experienced an afternoon filled with excitement and Christmas spirit yesterday with the visit by Father Christmas, who went round the streets of the old town after spending the previous night leaving gifts in children’s homes.

Accompanied by his friendly elves and beloved characters like the Grinch, Father Christmas arrived in Mojácar Pueblo, bringing smiles, excitement, and a strong Christmas spirit to residents and visitors. The festive atmosphere was palpable everywhere, with entire families enjoying the encounter, photos, greetings, and unique moments that will remain in the children's memories.

The mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García, highlighted the importance of these types of activities as part of the municipality's Christmas programme: “The visit by Father Christmas's is one of those special moments that reinforces the excitement of Christmas and turns Mojácar into an even more welcoming place for families. Seeing the children’s joy on our streets is, undoubtedly, the best gift.

The mayor also emphasized the effort made to offer a varied programme designed for all everyone: “We want Mojácar to truly experience Christmas, for residents and visitors to come out into the streets, enjoy the atmosphere, our traditions, and a full schedule of activities that make this time of year unique.”

Santa's visit is part of the extensive 2025 Mojácar Christmas Lights programme, which continues in the coming days with workshops, shows, a Christmas market, music, and family activities, solidifying Mojácar's position as a benchmark destination for enjoying Christmas in a unique setting.
