Vigente.

Mojácar Council has officially presented a cheque for 20,000 euros to the CEIP Bartolomé Flores primary school El Jali Parents' Association (AMPA), an amount that was approved and included in the 2026 Municipal Budget by the current government team.

This subsidy will allow the El Jali Parents' Association to allocate all the assistance to those improvements it considers a priority within the education centre, meeting the needs of the pupils and contributing to the continued improvement of the school's facilities and resources.

The Mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, stressed that "today we are fulfilling a commitment made in the 2026 Budget. These 20,000 euros are not just a figure, but a direct investment in the quality of education for our children."

He also emphasized that “the Council has full confidence in the El Jali Parents' Association, in its involvement and in its ability to decide which actions are most necessary at the Bartolomé Flores primary school. Our role is to support and facilitate these improvements so that they become a reality.”

The Council points out that this subsidy is on top of the actions that the Council has been carrying out on an ongoing basis at the Bartolomé Flores primary school, both in terms of maintenance and the modernisation and improvement of infrastructure.

Among the projects being carried out are the digitization of classrooms, the refurbishment of the library terrace, the construction of toilets in the assembly hall, improvements to the playground, as well as regular maintenance works and upkeep of the building.

The Mayor wanted to underline that “our commitment to the Bartolomé Flores primary school is firm and long-term. We're not talking about one-off actions, but rather a stable work plan that combines direct subsidies with municipal investments in infrastructure and maintenance.”

He added that “education is a priority for this Government team. We will continue to allocate resources and efforts to ensure the school has the best possible conditions and that families feel the ongoing support of their Council.”

With the presentation of this cheque to the El Jali Parents' Association, Mojácar Council reaffirms its commitment to the educational community and consolidates a responsible and planned investment policy, aimed at guaranteeing a quality educational environment for the present and future of the municipality.
