Mojácar Council, the Provincial Council and Crash Music are joining forces for this delicatessen event for which a few tickets remain and which was created with the aim of becoming an autumn cultural and gastronomic benchmark

Mojácar is now ready to this weekend receive the first edition of the ‘Mojácar 5 Estrellas’ event. An event that is not just a festival, but a celebration of everything that makes the locality unique as a quality tourist destination, bringing together internationally renowned chefs and top-level musical artists at the same event. An initiative led by Mojácar Council together with the Provincial Council and the Almería-based production company Crash Music, sponsored by Estrella de Levante, Restaurante Arcilla/Grupo Kontiki and Playa Macenas Resort, which will premiere at Macenas Mediterranean Resort in Mojácar on the 19th of October, with free-entry activities on the afternoon of Friday the 18th.

The combination of the best chefs’ cuisine with a carefully chosen musical offering to enhance the multi-sensory experience of both disciplines is the secret of this event created with the aim of becoming an autumn cultural and gastronomic benchmark.

The musical menu will be made up of names with a proven track record such as the pop-rockers Sidecars, the signature pop of Funambulista, the melodic indie pop of María Yfeu and a DJ session by Vinila Von Bismark. The stage changes will be spiced up by Sedo DJ.

On the gastronomic side, there will be names of exceptional chefs such as Javier Torres from Cocina Hermanos Torres, an establishment distinguished with three Michelin Stars, Damián González from Restaurante Arcilla, Kontiki group and Euro-Toques España, Dani Muñoz from Almería’s Restaurante Travieso, holder of a Michelin Star mention and Taberna Volapié, with Dani García and all his Andalusian cuisine of dishes with flavour, tradition and feeling.

“The concept aims to offer a complete experience that encompasses music and gastronomy,” say the organisers. That is, the chefs will be cooking their signature dishes while the performances take place. The kitchen will be active from 7pm to midnight and there will be a menu of approximately 15 types of tapas, which will be paid for, independent of the entrance to the concerts.

Tickets will be for the entire experience and can be purchased on the official event website: mojacar5estrellas.es
