Vigente.
After enjoying the Moors and Christians festivities last week, Mojácar municipality is again filled with magic and charm this week to celebrate the night of San Juan.
This Sunday 23rd of June, the Playa del Descargador will become the setting for one of the most magical nights of the year with the celebration of San Juan. A day that will begin in the evening full of activities for the whole family that promise fun, tradition and one-of-a-kind moments.
The littlest ones will from 6pm be able to enjoy various children's activities, such as a water park, balloon modelling and a pirate gymkhana. The Charanga Juaraguinos will liven up the night from 8pm to continue with the municipal children's bonfire.
To recharge your batteries the traditional free sardine feast will be served by Mojácar Council from 10.15pm, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine and continue enjoying the shortest night of the year.
The highlight will come at midnight with an impressive municipal bonfire accompanied by fireworks and a performance by the group ‘Por un puñado de Tercios’, ensuring an evening full of music and fun.
Following the tradition rooted in the Mediterranean coast, Mojácar Council invites everyone to join in this magical festivity, open to both the locality’s residents and visitors.
